1. Member States shall ensure that, taking into account the individual assessment referred to in Article 16, the competent authorities assess the victim’s individual support needs as provided for under Chapter 4. The competent authorities shall assess dependants’ individual support needs as provided for under Chapter 4, unless there are indications that they do not have specific support needs. 2. Article 16(4), (6) and (7) applies to the individual assessment of victims’ support needs under paragraph 1 of this Article. |
