1. Each Member State shall designate authorities such as customs authorities that shall have the responsibility of controlling the import and export of chemicals listed in Annex I, unless it has already done so before the entry into force of this Regulation.
The Commission, supported by the Agency, and the Member States shall act in a targeted and coordinated way in monitoring exporters’ compliance with this Regulation. 2. The Forum for Exchange of Information on Enforcement established by Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 shall be used to coordinate a network of the Member States’ authorities responsible for enforcement of this Regulation. 3. Each Member State shall, in its regular reports on the operation of procedures pursuant to Article 22(1), include details of the activities of its authorities in that regard. |
