1. The Commission and the Office shall be considered controllers within the meaning of Article 3, point (8), of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 in relation to the processing of personal data in the procedures for which they are competent in accordance with this Regulation. 2. The competent authorities of Member States shall be considered controllers within the meaning of Article 4, point (7), of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 in relation to the processing of personal data in the procedures for which they are competent in accordance with this Regulation. |
