Transitional measures related to the repeals of Directives 91/496/EEC and 97/78/EC 1. The relevant provisions of Directives 91/496/EEC and 97/78/EC which govern matters referred to in point (b) of Article 47(2), Article 48, points (b), (c) and (d) of Article 51(1), point (a) of Article 53(1), Article 54(1) and (3), and point (a) of Article 58 of this Regulation shall apply instead of the corresponding provisions of this Regulation until 13 December 2019. The relevant provisions of Directive 97/78/EC which govern matters referred to in point (a) of Article 47(2) of this Regulation related to composite products shall continue to apply instead of that corresponding provision until 20 April 2021. ◄ 2. The Commission is empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 144 to amend this Regulation concerning the date referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article. That date shall be the date of application of the corresponding rules to be established pursuant to the delegated or implementing acts provided for in Article 47(2), Article 48, points (b), (c) and (d) of Article 51(1), point (a) of Article 53(1), Article 54(1) and (3), and point (a) of Article 58.
