Regulation (EU) No 513/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 establishing, as part of the Internal Security Fund, the instrument for financial support for police cooperation, preventing and combating crime, and crisis management and repealing Council Decision 2007/125/JHA article annex_II CELEX: 32014R0513 (a) Preventing and combating cross-border, serious and organised crime including terrorism, and reinforcing coordination and cooperation between law enforcement authorities of Member States and with relevant third countries. (i) Number of joint investigation teams (JITs) and European Multidisciplinary Platform against Criminal Threats (EMPACT) operational projects supported by the Instrument, including the participating Member States and authorities. For the purposes of annual implementation reports, as referred to in Article 54 of Regulation (EU) No 514/2014, this indicator shall be further broken down in sub-categories such as: — leader (Member State), — partners (Member States), — participating authorities, — participating EU Agency (Eurojust, Europol), if applicable. (ii) Number of law enforcement officials trained on cross-border-related topics with the help of the Instrument, and the duration of their training (person days). For the purposes of annual implementation reports, as referred to in Article 54 of Regulation (EU) No 514/2014, this indicator shall be further broken down in sub-categories such as: — by type of crime (referred to in Article 83 TFEU): terrorism, trafficking in human beings and sexual exploitation of women and children; illicit drug trafficking; illicit arms trafficking; money laundering; corruption; counterfeiting of means of payment; computer crime; organised crime; or — by horizontal area of law enforcement: information exchange; operational cooperation; (iii) Number and financial value of projects in the area of crime prevention For the purposes of annual implementation reports, as referred to in Article 54 of Regulation (EU) No 514/2014, this indicator shall be further broken down by type of crime (referred to in Article 83 TFEU): terrorism, trafficking in human beings and sexual exploitation of women and children; illicit drug trafficking; illicit arms trafficking; money laundering; corruption; counterfeiting of means of payment; computer crime; organised crime; (iv) Number of projects supported by the Instrument, aiming to improve law enforcement information exchange which are related to Europol data systems, repositories or communication tools. For the purposes of annual implementation reports, as referred to in Article 54 of Regulation (EU) No 514/2014, this indicator shall be further broken down by type of crime (referred to in Article 83 TFEU): data loaders, extending access to SIENA, projects aiming to improving input to analysis work files etc. |
Regulation (EU) No 513/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 establishing, as part of the Internal Security Fund, the instrument for financial support for police cooperation, preventing and combating crime, and crisis management and repealing Council Decision 2007/125/JHA article annex_II CELEX: 32014R0513 (b) Enhancing the capacity of Member States and the Union for managing effectively security-related risks and crises, and preparing for and protecting people and critical infrastructure against terrorist attacks and other security-related incidents. (i) Number and tools put in place and/or further upgraded with the help of the Instrument to facilitate the protection of critical infrastructure by Member States in all sectors of the economy; (ii) Number of projects relating to the assessment and management of risks in the field of internal security supported by the Instrument; (iii) Number of expert meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences, publications, websites and online consultations organised with the help of the Instrument. For the purposes of annual implementation reports, as referred to in Article 54 of Regulation (EU) No 514/2014, this indicator shall be further broken down in sub-categories such as: — relating to critical infrastructure protection; or — relating to risk and crisis management. |
