1. Without prejudice to this Regulation, Article 3 and Chapter IX of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 shall apply to the processing of personal data by Europol.
Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, with the exception of Chapter IX, shall apply to the processing of administrative personal data by Europol. 2. References to ‘personal data’ in this Regulation shall be understood as references to ‘operational personal data’ as defined in Article 3, point (2), of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, unless otherwise provided for in this Regulation. 3. The Management Board shall adopt rules to determine the time limits for the storage of administrative personal data. |
